In a Locked Room Wiki

Hello everyone! It's been a long weekend, but we finally meet again!

So, it's been a while since I did any new art challenges. I've really been busy lately, so I haven't had the time to sit down and draw. However, recently Pea published his new ABC Fanart Challenge. If you want to check that out, click on the link below:

https://in-a-locked-room.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:PeaVZ108/ABC_Fanart_Challenge!_(Again)

I also did an ABC Fanart Challenge myself, by the way, so if you want to check that one out, you can click on the link below:

So Pea recently published his newest ABC Fanart Challenge, and that inspired me to try drawing again. But I already did an ABC Fanart Challenge myself, and I didn't want to make another one, so I started to brainstorm what new creative challenge I could try.

That's how I came up with the All Star Art Challenge! Here's how this one works: I use the same 28 drawing template Pea uses for his ABC Fanart Challenge, but instead of drawing a character with each letter of the alphabet, I've decided to do something different. Each column is for a different user here in In a Locked Room. I have to draw four characters from each user I chose for this challenge. So one column is for Pea's characters, another for Xenos's characters, etc.

I've color-coded the columns to make it easier to distinguish which column is for which user, but I'll also tell you more about it as I comment on the drawings. So that's it basically, the template has seven columns, so each column will contain characters from a different user. Let's see what it looks like, shall we?

Characters[]

Column 1[]

The first column has red outlines. Red for Redfork2000! We're starting out with my characters. For this challenge though, I decided to draw characters who didn't have an official design in IaLR yet, so enjoy!

1 - Andrew Smith: The cheerful journalist who has a huge crush on Athena. Pretty simple to draw, but I really like his design I ended up with. What about you? Also, let me know if you ship Athena X Andrew as well!

2 - Mr. Simon: This middle-aged man who posed as Blast's father during Father Knows Best in one of Dr. Zack's most elaborate attempts to get rid of Blast for good. I don't think the design should be too surprising. I mean, has super burps as one of his powers. That and he seems like that kind of dad who would sit on the couch and watch TV all day.

3 - Sky Light: One of the three co-owners of the Flying Star Cafe, Sky Light is the brain and the leader of the trio. Organized and smart, though sometimes a bit too obsessive with the little details, Sky Light is the one who keeps the cafe running smoothly with her schedules, to-do lists and organization skills.

4 - Blueberry Cookie: This cool cookie really loves to skate. Along with Raspberry Cookie and some other friends, he forms part of the team of cookies that helped defeat Dr. Jellystein in Cookie Conquest.

Column 2[]

The second column is green to represent PeaVZ108, since we all know peas are green. Pea is one of the users in this wiki I've worked the most with, so as a result his cast is probably the one I know the best aside from my own. Let's check out what we have here!

5 - Green Shadow: The heroic peashooter is here to save the day! You know, I think it would be cool to have a new story about the plant heroes. If it's well-executed, it could be a great hit!

6 - Starcade: Well, I had a bit of trouble getting this one right, but hopefully the result is good enough. I kind of liked her previous design a bit more, but this one is ok as well.

7 - Kyoji: The skilled ice ninja, and one of the better fighters among the gang. Not much to comment on this one, the mask really makes drawing his face a lot easier.

8 - Sean Sapphire: Last time I drew Diana Diamond, so I tried drawing another gemstone instead. Wait, do people still get his name wrong? I remember that was a running gag in the earlier days.

Column 3[]

The third column is blue, to represent JeloJellyJam. After all, his main character has blue as his main color scheme. Let's see what we have here!

9 - Gerald Edmarkson: The original leader of the Locked Room Gang! I wish we could do more with him, and see more character development from him. He's the most iconic character in IaLR along with Galaximus, so I do think it would be great to get more stories that are about Jelo himself.

10 - Star Butterfly: The magic princess from Mewni herself! At first I wanted to do that thing the artstyle of the series has that the lines of the eyes overlap with the lines of the hair, but it didn't look good when I tried it, so I ended up doing my own thing instead.

11 - Marco Diaz: Not much to comment here to be honest. Marco is a good character, so is Star,  I wish they had more appearances in IaLR. So far I think the most iconic one is that Valentine's Day story, and to be honest... let's just say that story doesn't paint anyone in the best light. So let's have more Star and Marco centered stories! There's a lot we could do with these guys!

12 - Coffee Cookie: While it's true that I co-own her, she is originally Jelo's character. To be honest she's one of my favorite cookies in IaLR, and one of the most well-developed cookies as well. Keep on going Sarah, you're great!

Column 4[]

The fourth column is purple, to represent Xenos. He has a smaller cast than most other users here, but nonetheless he has several iconic characters, so let's see what we have in this column!

13 - Athena: The most iconic character in Xenos's cast, it would've been a crime to not include her in this column.

14 - Aurora Blue: The girl with the purple heart (though this drawing in particular doesn't really show that). I think we could use some more Aurora centered stories, since most of the stories in her series are more centered around Athena. I mean, Athena is definitely the more interesting character, but Aurora deserves some more time in the spotlight as well.

15 - Vortigon: My previous attempt at drawing him was simply horrible, so this is take 2! I don't think it looks much better, but it's an improvement, at least i think so.

16 - Michael: Not much to say about him. He mostly seems like he doesn't care much about anything, and I can't blame him. I mean, how alive can you be when you're dead?

Column 5[]

The fifth column is magenta, to represent Chilly! His previous username color was magenta, so that's why I chose this color for his column. He has a lot of characters, but I don't know what most of them even look like, so I had to stick to the few characters of his I do know the designs of.

17 - Richard Melon: Chilly's main character. Some more stories about him in which he shows the true colors of his personality would be very interesting.

18 - Kernely: My favorite character from Chilly's cast. Not only does she have a unique design, but she's one of the more developed characters in Chilly's cast. From being royalty in Foodland, to being the baby-sitter of Ace's students, she has a lot going for her.

19 - Samantha: I really don't know much about her, except that she looks a lot liek Kernely.

20 - Unikitty: Those three are the only Chilly exclusive characters I know the designs of, so for the fourth one I had to take a character who is co-owned by Chilly. This is Unikitty, co-owned by Chilly, Jelo and I.

Column 6[]

Column six is cyan to represent SuperGaming because... I don't know? Ok, I was running out of colors, but I hope you like the drawings in this column, these were some of the most fun to draw!

21 - Sans: (Megalovania intensifies) Would it be weird if I said that I had a good time drawing Sans?

22 - Papyrus: Pro-tip: If you want Papyrus to appear where you are, just make spaghetti. That should make him pop up quickly. And if he dabs marinara sauce behind his ear, kindly remind him that he doesn't have ears.

23 - King Dedede: Dedede is the name you should know! Dedede is the king of the show! He'll holler and hoot, he'll give Kirby the boot! Dedede is the one! Dedede, saving the day! Dedede, he's here to stay! Don't be fooled by his size, you won't believe your eyes! Dedede is the one!

24 - Kirby: (Gourmet Race intensifies) Not only one of the cutest videogame characters ever (along with the chaos from Sonic Adventure), but also one of the most powerful videogame characters ever.

Column 7[]

This column is the bonus column! This one is specifically for random characters I wantd to draw. Don't worry if you don't recognize these, they haven't all appeared in IaLR. Will they at some point? Maybe yes, maybe no. Let's check this out!

25 - Lily Baker: Meet Lily Baker, the journalist that writes for the newspaper of Peachwood High!  Cheerful and energetic, this teenage girl will always pop up whenever there's an action scene. Her career as the main writer for the school's newspaper really skyrocketed when she learned about a certain superpowered teen in her hometown who became the superhero of Peachwood. You may have heard of him, his name is Blast.

26 - Squid Girl: Attention! I'm Squid Girl, emmisary of the sea! I've come from the depths of the ocean to take revenge on humanity for polluting the ocean, and ink-vade mankind to become your new ruler! Bow before your new queen, Squid Girl! Wait, what do you mean you don't believe me? These tentacles aren't bluffing, you know! I'm a serious threat, fear me!

27 - Megaman: The heroic blue robot who always thwarts Dr. Wily's plans of world domination. Any resemblance between him and any character in my own cast is completely intentional.

28 - Ace: Aha! You thought these would all be non-IaLR characters, right? Wrong! Here's Ace, Blast's older brother, toughened after being under the rule of the Shadow Sensei for ten grueling years. His main mission in life is to keep his brother safe, but he's also branched out, and is now the sensei of his own dojo where he teaches people the art of being a ninja so they can defend themselves from villains.
