Shadow Bugs are strange creatures in IaLR from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl universe. They can morph into minor members of the Subspace Army such as Primids. They can also morph trophies into evil clones of who the character was before being transformed into a trophy.

Shadow Bugs simply just look like purple orbs.

These strange little creatures can transform into Primids and other annoying things, so you should try to destroy them before they transform. They can also make evil clones!

Shadow Bugs appeared a lot, transforming into enemies and transforming trophies into evil clones. They were apart of the Subspace Army.
In IaLR[]
After Tabbu's death, Master Hand gained permission to controlling the entire Subspace Army, including Shadow Bugs.
