Iron Heart is a unicorn who debuted in the episode The Blocked Room Gang. After leaving the Blocked Room Gang, she went to strike out on her own as a solitary hero, but eventually learns to trust others and accept help from friends. She is roleplayed by Redfork2000.

Appearance[]

Iron Heart is depicted as being a pink unicorn with dark red eyes, dark gray mane, and having a heart-shaped iron plate as a cutiemark.

Personality[]

Iron Heart is normally calm and elegant, but tends to conceal her true feelings. Devoted to her duty, she sometimes gets herself bogged down by her own strict discipline, which made her anti-social, shy, and unfamiliar to the concept of having friends. After spending time with Red Fork and Lemon Glass, however, Iron Heart has discovered the true meaning of friendship, allowing her to accomplish tasks for the good of her people and the innocent which she could never do alone.

She is usually highly disciplined and focused, never allowing herself to lose control, and can be quite stubborn and impatient once she has put her mind to something. Her intensive demeanor however, is motivated by her own genuine concern for others' safety. In truth, Iron Heart has a kind heart, and always stands up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Because of her own self-imposed strict discipline though, she is often tense and frequently suffers from great self-pressure.

Because of her past and devotion to her duty, Iron Heart developed a habit of being self-reliant, whichled her to building up walls between her and other people. This made her anti-social, withdrawn and shy. As a result, she would bottle up her secret feelings, leaving herself in an inner turmoil. She also lacks in social skills and has a hard time opening up and talking to people. She was also initially wary and curt towards strangers and frequently rejected offers to help, even becoming defensive and angry. This attitude also made her somewhat selfish as she berated Red Fork's offers to help and eventually ended up fighting him.

After interacting with Red Fork, Lemon Glass and their friends, Iron Heart developed much more socially, making her more amiable, friendly and gentle towards others. She also came to understand the true meaning of friendship, making her willing to trust and accept help from others. While she still prefers handling things on her own and remains somewhat reclusive, she will accept her friends' help and is genuine grateful for their aid.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Super Strength: Iron Heart possesses great strength, and is stronger than most of her allies. She was able to keep up with Red Fork when the two fought each other, meaning she's at least strong enough to be equally matched with Red Fork.
  • Super Speed: While we haven't seen her use her speed as much, we can see from her battle with Red Fork that she's fast enough to keep up with him.
  • Magic: While Iron Heart doesn't use her magic as much in battle, she can definitely perform magic spells if need be.

As Moon Heart[]

When put in contact with the Elements of Harmony, Iron Heart becomes Moon Heart, essentially a super saiyan version of herself, heavily increasing her magic powers, strength and endurance.

Relations with other characters[]

Emily Green[]

Iron Heart used to be Emily Green's second-in-command when she was a part of the Blocked Room Gang. However, after discovering the truth about Emily Green, Iron Heart was enraged that she had been tricked by her. Later when Red Fork re-encounters her, Iron Heart seems to still be upset about the way Emily Green had tricked her, saying that her time with the Blocked Room Gang was just a waste of time, and that she'd rather not remember any of it.

Red Fork[]

The two start out as rivals when they first meet, both fulfulling similar roles in the opposing gangs. However, their interactions become more significant when they meet again in Unicorn Rush. There Iron Heart shows up with the objective of defeating Mega Spark, but becomes increasingly frustrated as everyone in town tells her to ask Red Fork for help. When they finally meet, Red Fork insists in helping her, but Iron Heart refuses to let him help, and they end up fighting each other. After the fight, Red Fork gets Iron Heart to finally open up about her insecurities and troubles, and once she decides to accept Red Fork's help, the two defeat Bright Spark and Mega Spark together using the Elements of Harmony. It can be said that the two are now very good friends.

Windy Sails[]

Iron Heart's closest friend. While Iron Heart can sometimes be annoyed by Windy Sails' bubbly and childish nature, she acts as an older sister figure to her, helping her and protecting her whenever they're together. Windy Sails knows that behind Iron Heart's facade of seriousness and coldness, there is a friendly and kind pony who truly cares about others.

Lemon Glass[]

When Lemon Glass encounters Iron Heart in Unicorn Rush, she decides to follow her on her adventure, tagging along as a sidekick, and presenting her to a few friends of hers. Lemon Glass insists in Iron Heart asking Red Fork for help to defeat Mega Spark, which she refuses. Despite Iron Heart finding Lemon Glass a bit annoying at first, she grows to care about her, enough to be worried when it seems the evil scientists are going to hurt her.

Mega Spark[]

Iron Heart and Mega Spark are archenemies in a similar fashion to Red Fork and Bright Spark. However, it should be noted that their dynamic is slightly different due to the distinct personalities. While Red Fork is frequently the one to annoy Bright Spark, instead Iron Heart is the one that gets the short end of the stick when it comes to being frustrated by her opponent's words.
