In a Locked Room Wiki:Rules

Rules and Policies Like any other wiki, the In a Locked Room Wiki has a set of rules that you must follow if you want to stay here. Now, this may be odd considering this is a fanon wiki, in which your imagination is the limit, but still, we have to enforce these rules if you don't want yuppies whining all night. Should you not comply with these rules, you'll be faced with punishment, a block, or worse: a ban! This page is under construction. I'll add more rules later. General Language This is an American English wiki. Essentially, if you speak English, everyone can understand each other easily. After all, not everyone knows the main languages of the users aside from English. If you speak a different language, we won't ban or block you. I mean, what staff member blocks someone who speaks foriegn languages?! But still. Bottomline, speak English, and everyone can understand you. Underaged Users This is Wikia's rule, not ours. You must be 13 to join. If you are under 13, however, we're sorry, but you can't join due to laws preventing underaged users. If you are 12 or under, do not say your real age, though. If you joined as an underaged user and became 13, then nothing bad will happen. Swearing No swearing or cussing anywhere, at mainspace, at chat, at the Discussions, at blogs, even if it's not directed at a user. That includes naming image swears. Minor swears like "crap" are however allowed.  You can swear if it's censored, but still. Don't. Cyberbullying Do not bully. Your teacher probably told you this many times, and this rule also applies to the wiki. Be friendly to others, and don't be rude. Spamming and Vandalizing Don't spam, troll, flame or vandalize. We will block you. April Fool's vandalizing and spamming also counts as normal vandalizing and spamming. Offensive Material Anything that is by any way sexual, offensive or downright nasty will be wiped off the face of the wiki. Joke Pages Should you make a joke page, mark it as a joke with the {{Template:Joke}} template to let anyone know it's a joke. Otherwise, we'll mark it as spam instead and delete it. Uploads Offensive Images Do not upload anything that is sexual or explicit. This could result in a ban. Also, do not upload anything that promotes bullying. Low Quality Images Do not post images with bad quality. We won't block you for this (considering it would be ridiculous if we did), but we will add a template. We recommend you add high quality images. Characters and Content Mary Sues Call them Marty Stus or Marty Sues, whatever, Mary Sues are still the same in meaning. Mary Sues are characters that are so unrealistically perfect and flawless. We want everyone to be more of a human and less of a god, so please do not do Mary Sues, unless you want us to throw our edits at your page. Mary Sue Characteristics If your character has most of these,  it will be marked. Are in an important position in the sides of good or evil Always win in fights Are friends with everyone Always get what they want Have special powers Rule a massive empire/country or own a major corporation, business, or syndicate Somehow have lifetime and mutual relationships with characters that have no backstory or description Always liked by everyone Has no flaws Always saves the day in a shorter time than the gang does And a lot more. Now, that doesn't mean we frown upon the usage of plot armor. We know you don't want to let go of your characters, so it's okay. But we won't accept Mary Sues. You know what's worse than that? Invincible villains! These are villains with absolutely virtually no weakness!  And apparently the only thing that can stop this is a Mary Sue!
